Journey by Stephen Clark
    to Ridgetown

"I don't know what this situation is", you say, "But it's really nothing to do with me and I don't want to get involved. Please don't shoot me Bob -- I've got my whole life ahead of me and I don't want to die. How about you put down the gun and I promise not to tell anyone about what I saw here?"
Bob thinks for a while and said, "O.K. I won't kill an innocent person. What was I thinking? Look at what I've become -- a cold-blooded killer -- oh what's wrong with me. I'm going to throw this gun away and vow never to kill another person ever again."
He goes over to the rubbish bin across the room, but on the way he trips over the dead guy's foot and stumbles. The gun goes off accidentally. The bullet ricochets off the wall and hits you in the head.
